Windows Access Based Enumeration

Windows Access Based Enumeration has been around for a little while, but I don’t know a lot of people that know of it or take advantage of it. I’ve seen it used most by people who had been migrating from Novell Netware to MS Windows servers. This gives you the ability to hide all of the directories that a user may not have access to, much like the default in Novell.

Windows Access-Based Enumeration is only supported in Windows 2003 server sp1 and newer

In windows 2008 this feature has been built in, and only needs to be enabled, More information is here:
